Inheritance Dilemma of Tamie’s Children

By tradition, the descendants of Tamie now belong to Ahia-Ukwa’s family because the marriage rites where not done. This implies that children of Tamie are officially from Ibiapu Compound and do not have any inheritance from Bipialaka.
Tamie cohabited with his spouse in her father’s house.
Tamie’s children were living with relatives and other good hearted people to make ends meet. The family members were predominantly fishermen. They participated actively in cultural dances, playing of drums and singing.
As at the time of compiling this report, only Amagboribie, the last son of Tamie was privileged to procure a land and built a house where he lived with his children and spouse.

Marriage Status of Tamie’s Children

Nehemiah did not marry his spouse, as a result lost claim of his offspring.
Emmanuel did not marry his spouse, as a result lost claim of his offspring.
Velvet did not marry his spouse, as a result lost claim of his offspring.
Amakiri did not marry his spouse, as a result lost claim of his offspring
Dango the only daughter was never married; hence the offspring belongs to Ibiapu Compound.
Bedone married his spouse.
Amagboribie married his spouse.
Technically, going by tradition, Bedone, Amagboribie and Dango are the children retaining the Tamie-AhiaUkwa lineage.
